"You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward." - Steve
Jobs 2005

I found the key to my own biography in this sentence from my idol Steve Jobs. My story begins in the 1960s in a medium-sized German city. As the son of a driving school teacher and test driver for Dürkopp, an interest in technology and automobiles was awakened at an early age. This path should accompany me for the rest of my life. But before I sat behind the wheel of my Beetle for the first time, I discovered another passion that, like itself
turned out later, combined well with my technical interest, drawing. At the age of twelve I designed my first furnishing objects and decided to conceptualize and plan a basic presentation on the internet | Rod Mitecki to become an interior designer. Even if, as is so often the case, the childhood ideas don't survive, I've remained remotely an architect.
As was typical for the time, I first completed an apprenticeship. She trained me in handling different materials and strengthened my understanding of excellent work through precision and craftsmanship. During this time, my first lights were created and I picked up my interest in automobiles again, as mentioned at the beginning. So I worked on my first "big" project, a VW Beetle Cabrio, alongside my studies as a qualified engineer. I meticulously adapted it to my ideas, changed the entire exterior and interior.
The effort paid off, because I was shown at international exhibitions, e.g. B. invited in England and Sweden and won a number of trophies, including "best paint" and "best of show". Professionally, I first gained experience as an appraiser in a small engineering office and then worked as a technical consultant for mechanical engineering companies in a larger German company. But as I found out after a few years, this was not mine  actual interest. Two private projects, a renovation of an old house in the Ore Mountains
as well as the conversion of a listed Bauhaus in East Westphalia awakened past childhood images. The Bauhaus in particular inspired me. In compliance with monument protection, I created a new room concept and paid special attention to the lighting design, which has always been an important element of the Bauhaus. From then on, working with light should not only feed on my past, but also determine my future. As part of my own venture, I developed lighting systems that blend harmoniously
integrate into the environment and reflect its character. "Form follows function" is my guiding principle.
With lighting technology, I found my way back to my creative roots and combined technical understanding and precision with creativity and aesthetics. Realistic implementation and professional project planning have always been important to me. What the future may hold is uncertain, but soon the dots will reconnect and we will see clearly how to get to who we are. I see myself as a real visionary, as a
Doer who doesn't give up, even if the goal still seems far away. Who has high standards for himself and ultimately lives for what he creates, a bridge between technology and aesthetics, form and function.
